Elie Fife

Yesterday Ross and I took a drive to the East Neuk of Fife and ended up in the seaside town of Elie. It is a very picturesque place nestled along curved, golden beaches. We took a walk along the coastal path and it’s fair to say our dog Oscar had a great time running around and exploring in the long grass. I had equal amounts of fun filming him using the slow-mo feature on my iPhone:

It was a beautiful sunny day but cold and the wind was very bitter. After taking a few photographs I had to put my camera away as my hands became too painful despite wearing gloves. Even though we didn’t go very far, I came away feeling positive that I managed the walk. I was tired afterwards but I didn’t feel as though it was a struggle. Step by step, every so slowly, I am beginning to win!

Hello, I'm Donna. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2013 and started this blog shortly after. After my health declined significantly the following year, I decided to become my own advocate and searched for answers. It took two years but, in 2016, I finally discovered I had Lyme Disease. On February Stars, I share my personal journey back to better health; discussing what has helped me and the mistakes I've made along the way. I also cover topics on self-improvement, managing symptoms and living life to the fullest with chronic illness.
